These standardization efforts can help to address NXP's requirement MEDNXP015 on how to import third-party IP vendor safety analyses into the safety analysis of an NXP component. The need for interchange of safety analysis data is recognized across industry. Continue monitoring industry. 2018-07-20 NXP has to try to import one of the IP vendor FMEDAs first, pass questions to medini, if necessary. Only based on the experiences made, a "cook-book" can be authored. Hint from medini: Riccardo Mariani tries to establish a standard FMEDA exchange format for IP suppliers and integrators.
