Updating HW Library from System Model

Status : open  Priority : Trivial, #80     Schedule : (according to Project Owner)      Current state :Deriving of Library Part possible as well     Critisism on current state :  When the HWPartLibrary is extended to include failure modes for a previously non existent part-number that is already present in the System Model (BOM), an "Update Elements from CSV" needs to be issued in order to force an update to the element type of those parts. Hi Peter,   as far as I know the library handling is now changed and ZF is also working with the Sherlock integration of medini. Is the described workflow of the past still the same and is the issue still there?      BR  Joël

Hi Joel,  this really depends, as regularly the part library is developed independent of the actual project. Once a new part library is available (via ZF_E_master), it is merged to the project. But while then new HW Part Types are available, they are not automatically assigned to the parts of the BOM model.     In practice the available options work good enough, so I consider this a minor issue.  Best regards    Peter
