Is it being considered to make this a core functionality of medini?  In ZF's modelling there is a system model "HW Effects" that must have "sum of failure modes" enabled, as otherwise FIT rates are not properly propagated to the FTA and thus PMHF would not be correct.     Currently, it is the user's responsibility that execution of the script is conducted after creation of new failure modes in the named system model.  Would ANSYS at least consider creating a validation rule that can be limited to specific system models?  In our modelling approach we have introduced a custom profile property to indicate system model's that shall have this behavior:

As indicated in my comment from last year, we have a script for this (by now). Nonetheless please consider making this a setting of a system model, whether all contained parts shall behave like this.
