At the point of the initial request I was not aware that medini strictly relies on the internala "mediniIdentifier" for Diff&Merge.      Feature request: For experienced users and special use cases it might be worthwhile to allow an operation mode of diff&merge that does qualify objects to be identical based on properties *other* than "mediniIdentifier", e.g. "ID" and "name" have to be identicali for FTA events.  Similar settings are available for diff&merge software like Beyond Compare, where differences can be identified for example based on timestamp, size, content and even rules for "irrelevant differences" can be defined.
