(hmm, my answers seems to not have gone through... (or is in moderation queue))  This can be marked "answered", the workaround of using "external" works sufficiently well.      Proposal for improvement:  The only case, where we still have an issue is, if a user contribution for merging is not being renamed in the user's medini workspace prior to export. This puts additional strain on the "merger", as he needs to possibly rename his own project first and then remember that the user contribution is showing up with a possibly misleading name (e.g. "eDrive_8P4G-PHEV_master_2020-11-05"), wheareas it is from happyUser (e.g. "eDrive_8P4G-PHEV_happyUser_2020-11-12"). What about presenting a dialog during import that allows to enter an alternative project name, if a project of the same name is already loaded inside the workspace? This would implement an on-the-fly renaming of the imported project.
