I expect it to be increased when neither "violates safety goals" (SPF) nor "multiple failure violate safety goals" (MPF/LF) is selected 2. I expect it to be increased when safe fault fraction is larger than 0% metric "total safe faults" is only influenced when element setting "safety related in this HW analysis" is deselected (equal to "don't care" in legacy ZF Toolkit). This marks the element with all of its failure modes as safe -> this is unexpected to me . The help says "Each failure mode which belongs to a safety related component needs to be analyzed as part of the HW metrics. You have to decide whether the failure mode has the potential to violate the safety goal and the percentage of safe faults. The remainder of the failure rate (subtracting safe fault fractions) will go into the SPFmetric" and further below regarding the metrics "Total rate of failures for not safety related components", which I in my understanding differs from the column name "Total Safe Faults" Answer from ANSYS  2019-11-12_EMB:  no further actions. --> close a parent node: FMEDA;Line 73"
