Do the "???" imply there is a need for clarification? If yes, please ping me in an additional post, just as you did in the other topic. The proposed change can be deducted from my comment "Keramik NDK/LDC should have as example "C0G, NP0" (zero versus letter O)". On inspection of SN29500, when selecting ceramic capacitors, it states "COG, NPO" as example, whereas it shosut be "C0G, NP0". Best regards Peter

Hi Peter, I just looked it up in the standard: In our version it looks like we have implemented correctly. Are you looking at a later version maybe? BR Joël

Dear Joel, valid point! Searching for capacitor types on the internet reveals for example:

or

C0G is the temperature stability (EIA class). I'm not a HW developer myself, so can't give background information. I think this is an oversight that happened during creation of SN29500. I don't care much, just wanted to point out the discrepancy. Best regards Peter

hmm, my answer didn't go through again. Long story short: Oversight in SN29500 creation, C0G is an EIA class that describes temperature stability.

Hi Peter, I agree, it seems to be a typo in the standard, because anywhere else it is written like you have highlighted in your request. Would you also go so far like some sources, which say due to the very low temperature co-efficient +/-0,3ppm/°C we shouldn't consider this as the beaviour is also not changing over the lifetime? I need to discuss if we shall update because the standard has this typo. BR Joël
