sysML Table in m2Doc

I would like to include a sysMLTable in my m2doc report. How can I access all entries and have the same "layout" as in the tool?

Hi Sven,

without going into the details or  knowing the full motivation...

m2doc is only a word so some tables might by eye-soring to visualize tables on a word page

m2doc does not support dynamic tables(dynamic columns with different width)

There is no native support to create a table in m2doc based on Layout state file.

1. ) First get knowledgeable about table and laoyut metaclaases /properties
2. ) Sysml table is a regular metaobject in medini so you can pass it (drag and drop from model browser) to the m2doc through report variable
3. ) inside of m2doc you can use AQL 
   table:: to query filter ..
4. ) locate and grab  layout state file in the table object;s PJProxy  inside of contained elements

   

5. ) similarly for layout in AQL ..  
   layout::
6. ) create custom Scripted service to preprocesses the content of table with respect to a given Layout stater
7. ) get knowledgeable about m2doc MTable, MTableRow,... classes
8. ) create custom Scripted service to create m2doc Table and fill it with collected data

Sp that is the outline you would have to go through in order to get the m2doc create a table report respecting layout.

PS: why not to use generate table report from the table editor (excel output) and embed it into the m2doc
