M2Doc FMEDA Report Draft

Question

I created a M2Doc Report for FMEDA Draft.
It is not yet fixing the Fit Rates to 2 decimals and still leaves a lot of space for improvements, but I think it might help the community to get their own FMEDA out as a M2DOC Report.

In order to use it, you just need to add mydc as variable and relate your FMEDA with it.

The M2doc use fields to capture the information .. please refer to m2oc forum related article series (M2Doc Sample Reports) or you can also directly consult the medini analyze help.

HI Dominik,

The FMEDA ( but also FMEA) a as such can contain a lot o analyzed failures => a lot of pages in word therefore it is way better to use excel format . Problem is tat m2doc only supports word format.

Te only way out is that you setup the word page format to some larger pages (A3 or A2) + landscape orientation.

Regarding your second question. Any property ( column in table editor) is either native property or a customized  profile property, specific to a project.

The comment on failure is a case of profile property defined for DC Failure Mode 
The property name to  be used in this case is user_comment ( take a look on the screen capture below).

So in context of the FMEDA template report inside of nested table >> fmeda.user_comment

In the mean time I found how to swap the columns by changing the field formulas.

Is there a definition available how to access the different columns? How is the "Comment on the failure" column called internally in Medini?
