New BIRT Report Creation

Good Morning!!

I have created one New Project in model browser, I have opened Report design perspective. In Navigator I added a New .rptdesign report below the same project workspace. After I have added Data source, Data Set & Body. But I am unable to see that report in my model browser below the same project workspace.

Below I added 2 snippets. please find the images.

Image2: I didn't get any report in my Model Browser

I am not able to generate the report, if it is a wrong process suggest me where I can generate the report

Hi,

Adding files to the config folder has to be done via the model browser, since the handling of config files was changed in 2023 R2.1, see here:

Changes for the scripts/mappings/reports folders since 2023 R2.1

This includes that also the BIRT Navigator cannot be used for adding new files anymore, otherwise they will not be recognized by medini.

There's a new feature planned for 2024R2 to synchronize the model browser with any file changes done on file system level, that will be an alternative solution for the future as well.

So please remove the file and add it again via the model browser. Does it work then?
