M2Doc Name of last imported Excel file

Hi everyone,

I am trying to display the name of the Last used Excel file from "Update Elements from CSV/Excel.." in my report. Currently i am accessing the name with 

m:BOM.eAnnotations.oclAsType(ecore::EAnnotation).references.name

 However this always gives me the complete path to the file but I only want to display the name. For example i get "C:\user\work\Demo-Projects\last_csv_file.xlsx" while i want to display "last_csv_file.xlsx". 
I tried using   

m:BOM.eAnnotations.oclAsType(ecore::EAnnotation).references.name->toString().lastIndex('\')

  to find the last '\' in the path, so I could cut the String there and only display what follows. However I always get these errors

Does anyone know a way around this or has a better solution for my problem in general?

Hi Maria,

Always interesting to see new use cases for M2Doc, even looking into the eAnnotations. :-) 

The error complains about a missing closing single quote ('). That's probably because the backslash escapes the next character in your example, so the quote doesn't have its normal function. Solving that was actually a bit tricky, as a double backslash (normally an escaped backslash) doesn't seem to work in AQL. I was able to solve that by using the Unicode escape sequence.

You can also remove the oclAsType() - it's necessary for OCL in medini, but not for AQL in M2Doc (one of the few differences). And I would use simpler string commands like tokenize() and last().

For me this works: 

{ m:BOM.eAnnotations.references.name.tokenize('\u005c')->last() }
