M2Doc Sample Reports #H: Checklists

This is another article of a series of articles about M2Doc as a new technology to generate Word reports out of medini models. Since the 2023 R1 release M2Doc is already included, just has to be enabled in the Preferences > Reporting. The attached sample project is for 2023 R1.

This sample is about a using checklists, how to access and report on them. As the checklist items are stored hierarchically in the database, you can either access them level by level, or get all checklist items of the current model (i.e. checklist) without hierarchy:

{ m:for cli | myChecklist.eAllContents(checklist::StaticChecklistItem) }
...
{ m:endfor cli }

Please let me know if you have more questions on this (for what do you use your checklists, what are your reporting use cases?), so we may extend this example on checklists.

Hi Nils, for me it's not quite clear how to enable the M2Doc Reporting in 2023 R1 since it says something with Host and Port under the Reporting references section. Can you maybe give a more detailed description on that?
