M2Doc Report: Access to value

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the M2Doc report. I want to put my FMEDA sheet to a table in Word, including the columns Causes and Effects. 

The problem is, that I can only access the value behind the red dot. I couldn't find a way or a flag with that I can access the corresponding part behind the grey cube. Then in the Word table it only says SHORT or OPEN, but without the specific part the information is not really useful.

Hi Yannik,

The FMEDA displays not only the failure mode, but optionally (you can activate/deactivate that with buttons on the top right) medini shows also information about the part, so the failure mode's container.

In M2Doc you get the object for the failure mode and can add information for the part/container on your own, if you want (makes sense in your case). For that, you can use thisIsMyPart.mediniGetContainer() - we provided this as an M2Doc service since (shortly before?) 2023R1, I think. This gives you the object of the part, which you can then use to access .label (or .name, .partNumber, .theType.name etc. separately).
