OCLData Issue

We are getting error while previewing the results of
the Computed columns while preparing a report for the project.

Unable to access the array or list elements returned
by getprofilepropertyvalue() function.

Attaching the images as reference to the error we are
getting.

In the Computed columns if the .get(0)[1]
expression is changed to .get[1], the error is not coming but, in the
preview results tab no output is displayed.

We have tried a something like . getprofilepropertyvalue("XXXX").get[0], we
did not get any error, but also did not get any values in preview.

Hi Sidramappa,

In principle row["@self"].getObject().getProfilePropertyValue("SwRS").get(0); should work, if user_SwRS is a list with at least one entry.

Can you please try and also share the definition of "user_SwRS"? So far we don't have any idea what the contents of the property is, but we need to know for helping.

Searching the forum got me this: The "load()" function does not work properly in BIRT JS engine, there was an issue identified here, which was fixed in 2022 R1.1.

I guess you use an earlier version of medini (2021 R2.1?), so you can either update medini, or as a workaround you can include the contents of the loaded script file into the derived profile property itself (I hope you don't have further load() references in that script file).

Does it work with either updated medini or inserted script file contents?

Well, you don't get an error, but an actual, probably correct result!

"[Ljava.lang.Object;" indicates that you have a Javascript Array, that fits to your previous properties view (multiple lines). So I guess that's what you actually want to have in the data source variable for your BIRT report.

Not sure how it will be displayed in the report, that depends on how you use it within the report design. Please check that, maybe you have the right output (I understood that somebody else prepared the report and you took it over).
