Automatically Resizing of Row Height

Question

I have designed a report template using birt report. I have a grid (let's say 1x1) which contains an image. When i generate the report as an excel file the height of the cell automatically adjusted to contain all of the image. However i do not want to height of the cell automatically adjusted but instead overflows to next rows. How can i achieve this? I tried to assign height of the row manually but it is no use.

Hi Ayhan,

I played a bit with all layout option I know but also failed, here is what I tried:

* Changed general report layout preference
* Changed Display settings for image, cell, row..
* Set row height to fixed value in row scripts

All failed :-/

Hi Jan,

I have attached the picture below. It is a static image and it has a defined size. I set the height of row#1 in the grid to a fixed value but the row grows to contain all the image like the picture at upper side. However the picture at lower side is the way i try to get in the report where height of row #1 is not adjusted.

Hi Ayhan,

unfortunately the image you attached / embedded is too small to see anything.

Where exactly did you set any height, at row or cell? Did you try the "overflow" settings?

I have no 100% answer for your issue but would have to check myself.

Is that a dynamic image ... does the image itself has a height?
