How to get Parent Folder (Package) name of a Requirement

Hello,

As of today, I am aware that for a requirement, one can get the name of the Model that contains the requirement, using something like :

self.getObject().getModel().getName()

I am curious if it's possible to get, from a requirement, the name of the parent folder (package).

Hi Nicusor,

medini has a special way to create its "project model", so to say, the packaging structure with all the different models inside. The project modle is a normal model it self, each analysis modle then is hooked into using a so call PJProxy object, basicalyl a root node in the project model that references the analysys model 8unidirectionally). So the analayis model is not "aware" of that in the sense that you can simply navigate upwards. Howeverm you may jump over this barrier with the following snippet (which I took from the helpse.js posted a while back here):

var container = namedElement.mediniGetContainer();
// special case: jump over the proxy barrier
if (!container && !namedElement.mediniGetOpposites("originalModel").isEmpty()) {
	var proxy = namedElement.mediniGetOpposites("originalModel").get(0);
	container = proxy.mediniGetContainer();
}
