With medini, you can easily share projects on Subversion, however, so far there was no real support to include the SVN history nicely and automatically in a report. There have been a number of requests to support the generation of such a "Change History" table based on the - anyhow(!) - existing history in Subversion, so I am happy to announce that we were able to implement a first version of a scripted data set that exactly does that.
The Solution
The data set is purely based on scripts and by that should work with any medini version since 18.x. The data set has a number of columns like revision, URL author etc:
Beside that, it offers a few parameters to achieve some more use cases like "latestFirst" (to reverse the history) or "min" (to enforce a certain amount of entries in the data set, even though the history has less in Subversion.
The Result
The result looks already very promising. You can achieve a number of different history tables as for example shown here:
You will find a draft version of this data set attached to this article. Feel free to use it in any of your report designs. Just copy the data source (if not available) and the data set to your design. See also the sample tables in the report how to use filtering to reduce the number of entries.
