Scripts that use the Experimental API display a disclaimer message each time they are executed, this warning can be suppressed by providing an accompanying MD5 file.
Starting with Medini 2025R2, the warning can also be suppressed by setting the hash directly as an annotation on the script's document. This also enables the use of bind() in scripts without requiring the $EXPERIMENTAL$.
This helper script automates that process. It computes the MD5 hash of every script file in a target directory and writes each hash as an EAnnotation (documentInfo / md5hash) on the corresponding script document. Once annotated, those scripts execute without triggering the experimental disclaimer.
Note that the MD5 hash is tied to the exact content of the script at the time it was annotated. If a script is modified, the stored hash will no longer match and the script will fall back to "unsigned" status, behaving as it did before until the annotation is updated by re-running this script.
By default, this script targets all .js files in the project's config/scripts/ directory. It can be easily adapted to prompt the user for a directory, or to process a specific subset of scripts as needed.
