Add hyperlinks to FMEDA worksheet

Question

Is it possible to add hyperlinks to an FMEDA worksheet? The simple workaround is to add a column and paste the URL as a text field. But I was wondering if making it a hyperlink is possible, just for convenience. For e.g., I could link simulation evidence  stored in a requirements management tool for each failure mode in the FMEDA.

I don't see a straightforward solution using Medini settings or profiling but I'm hoping there's a solution via scripting.

There is no real update, I am sorry to tell.

Main technical barrier is that the table is basically rendered using a table renderer that does not offer any inclusion of a "control" or "hyperlink". Just the active cell offers editing capabilities resp. a real "windows control" with behavior.

Hm, I assume you want those links in the FMEDA table, so basically a cell that acts like a hyperlink on a web page.

That's not supported out of the box though, also not with scripting. Even if you have rich text (XHTML or RTF) the cell still cannot be clicked (the text may have multiple links etc.)

This only works in text fields in forms where the text field detects and renders arbitrary hyperlinks:
