HARA - Dynamic Constraint - Check Consistency of Cause / Effect Chain

Dear Medini Users,

upon deletion of Hazardous Event in the HARA, the relation between Hazard and Malfunction still persists. If this behavior is not desired, you can include a dynamic constraint to locate their existence.

Assume the following scenario: In the HARA, you can find HE001 that includes MF001 and H003. However, HE002 was deleted in the HARA but the cause and effect between MF001 and H007 still persists (which is not intended by the user). The goal in this case is to create an OCL expression that does not fulfill the invariant.

The following dynamic constraint checks for existing cause/effect relations between malfunction and hazard that do not include hazardous event.

thanks Dario for providing this solution.

I've created a javascript implementation, that can remove all matching CausalityRelation(s) directly.

Required library elements:

* trashbin library
which can be found in this thread: Scripting Libraries : Ansys medini analyze Support

the trashbin library has to be placed in the config/scripts/.lib folder

Script Installation:

The remove_CausalityRelations_without_Implications.js can be
placed anywhere in the config/scripts folder.

The trashbin.js has to be placed in the config/scripts/.lib
folder.

The script can be executed by rightclicking anywhere on the project, using the
context menu entry

Execute > ... > remove_CausalityRelations_without_Implications

In case that matching objects are found, a summary dialog is
shown.
