I would like to share a functionality for requirement IDs.
This functionality allows requirements to have different IDs not only for the prefix but also for the counters.
In this article, complex example 2, How to define auto counter patterns : Ansys medini analyze Support , it only has different prefixes for different requirement models, but different requirement modes still share the same counters.
You would get FSC-001, TSC-002, TSC-003, FSC-004, somehow not perfect since it seems that FSC-002, FSC-003, TSC-001, TSC-004 had existed.
With the sample project, you have to define both the id_prefix and id_prefix_counter for each requirement model, like this. It works the same way as the native autocounter, adding 1 to the counter when a new requirement is created.
To transplant the functionality to your project, use diff/merge to copy the following settings/files to your own project. Please note that you need to close your project and reopen it after finishing diff/merge.
