Risk Categories for IEC 61508

Hi

Good Afternoon

I am writing this message to derive the Risk Categories with using the Severity and Frequency parameters.

I have created 3 parameters. 2 are string and 1 is derived, Please find the below attached image.

And For the severity I added these categories

And for the Frequency I added these categories

And for the Risk I used derived property I wrote it in Java script.

I am getting the error the RiskLevel is not defined

If anyone suggest on this it will helpful for me

Hi,

couple of thing:

1) you have getRisk function defined while  the error is reporting missing function getRiskLevel

2) just to confirm make sure to user self.user_frequency )or self.frequency) to access the profile proprtyat hazard

test example ....

user_risk:

function getRisk(sev,freq){
const Risk={
	a:{a:1,b:2,c:3,d:4},
	b:{a:10,b:20,c:30,d:40},
};

return Risk[sev][freq];
}

getRisk(self.severity,'b');
