Sometimes you may have a technical problem with a medini project and want to send it to medini support, but you are unsure if the contained data (intellectual property, IP) can be sent to e.g. Ansys. Non-Disclosure Agreements are often in place, but checking its existence and applicability takes time.
A simple solution is often to obfuscate the whole project with a small script, which replaces all data bei either "name-XXXX" with XXXX being an incremented counter (for names of elements), or just by blanks (for normal text fields). At the same time the structure of the project elements with all the traceability is still maintained, which allows for detailed analysis of technical problems of the project files.
This illustrates the principle on the example of the ESL project:
To obfuscate the project, you just need the attached two script files and execute the obfuscation script within the project. See the following extract of the script file for summarized instructions. You may also refer to the attached presentation (pdf) for more detailed instructions.
