Script for replacing transfer gates with principal events.

Hello,

I am looking for a script to replace all the transfer gates with principal events for safety mechanisms.

Does anyone have this kind of a script?

Hi Kepin,

 I od not have such script but the tasks to be done by the script are not that complex.

So the script should;

• be executed on the FTA model object
• load factory.js and trashbin.js libraries
• Find all FTA Connector objects that are connecting Transfer Gate and optionally filter further on TG with target event that are matching required criteria  
• Create EventNode and add them to the base Event ( event.nodes.add(newNode)) 
• Update the FTAConnector ( outputNode), repoint form FTA Transfer  to the created EventNode 
• Delete the Transfer Gate  

 

To locate the FTAConnection objects you can used finder ( scoped to the seltd FTA model)  or the attribute of the FTAModel
finder.findByType(Metamodel.FTA.Conneciton).filter

var myFinder = selection[0] && selection[0] instanceof Metamodel.FTA.AbstractEventTree ? Global.getFinder(selection[0]) : finder;
