Setting "theType" attribute via script

I want to set the attribute "theType" of a SysMLPart to another "typedef SySMLpart" via a script . My thought is that I need to set it up similar to creating a relation (like tracing) but I can't really seem to find a way to work with this "SysMLClassifier" variable type, nor did I found anything on the forum yet. 

Any help is much appreciated !

Generally what I do is 

1) locate your target type (SysMLBlock)

 

var targetBlockElement = null;
var myTypedElement = null;

//IF script is executed from the sysmlPart , the selection[0] can be used to supply object
if (selection && selection[0] && Metamodel.sysml.SysMLPart.isInstance(selection[0]) ){
 myTypedElement = selection[0]; 
 } 
 else 
 {
 //..no valid sysml part do something or exit
 }
//..
targetBlockElement = finder.findByType(Metamodel.sysml.SysMLBlock,true).filter(
 function filerFunction( element) {
 // define condition criteria to choose the target SysMLBlock
 return element && element.name == 'bloc_part_name' ;
 }
).first()
if (targetBlockElement == null){
 //do something if nothing is found
 }
//..

2) configure your SysMLPart with the type  ( using theType property)

   

//..
myTypedElement.theType = targetBlockElement ;
//..
