Automatically assign values to revised severity and occurrence

Hello,

I want to automatically assign the revised severity and occurrence the same values as severity and occurrence, respectively.

Also, I want to assign revised detection based on the failure effect. For a particular failure effect, I want to assign a particular revised detection.

Are these possible to do through a script?

Hi Kepin,

this kind of "automted scripted value propagation" just on change events is not possible with standard scripting. All you can do is to write an automation script that the user has to trigger manually.

Kind of "post script".

Yes, if the user changes the value of severity or occurrence, it should change the revised severity and occurrence.  The same goes for the failure effect. If the failure effect is changed, revised detection should automatically be changed.
