Customization of Set Derived Script

Question

Dear forum members, I am working with Set Derived script in order to check the box Derived of all parts imported to the Element Library, I am wondering if there is a way to customize the script in order to set only some variables and not all of them.

Please find enclosed the script I am working with.

I manipulated the script to work in the library and on the system model so delta_Teta and delta_U are automatically derived.

Please don't hesitate to use it, if you like to use the derive script the easy way ;-)

PS: Scripts are not qualified!

Yes that works for one variable. I also changed the code by adding other functions (if I want to change more than one variable) by adding other functions and call them at the end.

Youness, that's a simple thing.

I took the script, formatted it and removed some code that was there from old times but not necessary at all (sorting?). I introduced some method that works as a filter for variables, so please have a look. It has to return true to change the variable, false otherwise. As an example I included "Teta_U".
