Listing function/malfunction dependencies

Hello everyone, I'm trying to write a JS script that lists all the downstream dependencies of a top-level function and its malfunctions in order to perform a consistency check - i.e. to make sure that if a top-level malfunction is caused by a lower-level malfunction, then the corresponding top-level function <> the corresponding lower-level function. I'm aware that Factory.createRelation can be used to create a dependency between two functions, but I don't see a related finder functon. I also tried checking the dependencies property of a particular function, but it doesn't give me any indication regarding the related element. So in short, I'd like to create the dependency net of specifc functions and malfunctions by scripting - can anyone help me with this?

Hi Viktor,

A relation between functions ("Dependency" in the UI) is available via the "dependencies" attribute of the individual functions. There the "SysMLDependency" elements are linked, which have the stereotype and source/target elements stored. Via that you should be able to follow the dependency net.

If traces are somewhere used, please consider mediniGetTracedElements (documented in the Help).
