Export diagram in excel / java additional libraries

Question

Dear all

i want to create a script to export diagram as picture format in an excel file.

I have used the information in this topic

Using additional libraries : Ansys medini analyze Support (freshdesk.com)

but it don't work.

I have added somme jar file in .lib and I don't have issue for this

and for

var inputStream = new java.io.FileInputStream(picture1);

after i have found a javascript in internet to import picture in excel but i don't know how to translate in Medini

// read picture with stream

InputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(picture1);

byte[] bytes = IOUtils.toByteArray(inputStream);

//add picture in workbook , wb

int pictureIdx = wb.addPicture(bytes, Workbook.PICTURE_TYPE_JPEG);

//close stream

inputStream.close();

Ah, maybe I understand now. So once you have created your own classloader for whatever jar files you like, you have to load a class with its full classname.

In your example you named the classloader Guava. so to load the IOUtils class from the Commons IO you have to use

var IOUtils = Guava.loadClass("org.apache.commons.io.IOUtils");

So you have to know the full classname including the complete package, usually you can google that one or you find it as import statement in the original Java code.

I don't have issue with FileInputStream. I have put in red to precise you hou i have translate in Medini.

My issues are for :

bytes = IOUtils.toByteArray(inputStream)

and

int pictureIdx = wb.addPicture(bytes, Workbook.PICTURE_TYPE_JPEG);

i don't know how to translate or how to have access if the control if in one of the jar files that i have load in "urls"

which library resp. script code do you use to create/write the Excel file, do you solely use that excel-1.3.5 library or do you use code which is floating around in this board based on excel.js?

An second, is he red code not working or why did you color it? usually to convert Java code into JS code for medini, you indeed replace the type with var, so

InputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(picture1);

becomes just

var inputStream = new FileInputStream(picture1);
