export all profile properties into a list

Hi,

I want to eport all Profile properties of a project:

Prio:

1. a List with all names and scope (HARA, Safety-Goals,...)

2. in addition to 1: more info, e.g. script, text, reference to metamodel,...

3. in addition to 2: if it is a script, also export the code.

reason:

1. we want to explain in a documentation, why we need the properties and how they should be used

2. we want to have a fast overview over all projects, where we are missing some properties.

OK here it goes,

I just played a bit with a visuals.

If you want to have the locally in the project then copy the attached file into of project\config\reports\ (if the "reports" folder dos not exists just create it. And do not forget to also copy the library and js service file (\Meidni install\Program\plugins\de.ikv.analyze.reporting_1.0.1.202209080813\reports: analyze_data_set_library.rptlibrary , javascript_lib.js
Copy attached report file into the \Meidni install\Program\plugins\de.ikv.analyze.reporting_1.0.1.202209080813\reports
Just generate mediniMenu:Report select Generate Custom Report and choose MS excel as an output format.

TO generate Report you can use toll menu Report or click on any element inside of the model browser -> Report and select the Generate Custom Report , navigate to the file. Alternatively if you followed 1) you can directly select the report.

Hi Sven,

there is currently no API for that, I mean to go "meta level", I'm sorry. Consequently its almost impossible to achieve that goal at the moment.

Though I have hearded a similar feature request multiple times in this forum now.

Hi Sven,

I needed the same as a part of the medini template maintenance.

I have find a easiest way trough reporting with customized dataset. I have a BIRT report that will create an excel file out of a profile/derived properties including content you mentioned. I had a plan to also migrate this reporting to M2Doc but I find it difficult to review such content in the word So I would like to first have some service for M2doc which will allow me to create an output excel format.

I will post the example here so please stay tuned.

Great solution, thanks for posting.

On your point "So I would like to first have some service for M2doc which will allow me to create an output excel format." - I doubt that Excel/CSV will ever exist as an output format. M2Doc is for Microsoft Word files only (other .docx editors do not seem to support the user-edited fields), and a lot of the technology depends on Word.
