Access variant specific metrics in DCWorksheet

Hi all,

Is it possible to access variant specific metrics values by scripting?

Following in the values from the GUI:

Using the "Atributes" view in debug mode gives the following data:

I was not able to find the variant specific values. Or are they calculated "on the fly"? It seems, that only the non-variant values are stored.

Hello Michael,

yes, these data are not directly stored in the attributes of the worksheet (as they depend on the number of goals and/or variants) but calculated on the fly. However, there is good news: The calculation function(s) can be accessed from a script in Javascript. You will find the list of all these functions in the MetaModel Guide on pages 33 and 34 (they are the same functions as used for individual evaluation of safety goals):

Please note, there is a small not yet documented change in the signature of these functions as they have now two parameters instead of just a single parameter (safetyGoal). So a call to such a function would look like this:

var lambda_spf_rs = (goal!=undefined || variant != undefined) ? worksheet.getTotalSpfFailureRate(goal,variant): worksheet.totalSpfFailureRate;

This would give you the SP&RF Failure rates for all kind of DC Worksheets

• Plain Sheets with one or multiple SG (no individual evaluation)
• Sheets with one or multiple SG (no individual evaluation) and with variants
• Sheets with one or multiple SG  and  individual evaluation
• Sheets with one or multiple SG and individual evaluation and with variants
