RBD Reliabilitiy Value

Question

Dear All;

As you know we can see reliability value at RBD model view. But our customer want see reliability value in any table.

1-I have many systems.

2-With these system elements I created a RBD model. They can see reliability value in this. But they want see in any table.

3-I thought as we can FMEA worksheet. I could not access. Could you help me please this issue as urgent?

... the other option that came into my mind is to derive an m2doc based report and show the RBD nodes in a table in that report.

Hi,

Displaying the RBD results in the FMEA is not directly possible, as the reliability is not a result of individual SysML elements, but how they are modeled together as an RBD. Similar to an FTA - top event probability is not an attribute of a SysML part.

There is a difference to FTA though - an FTA top event can represent some model elements (like failure mode, hazard), but an RBD output node cannot. Instead, you can link the output node to any model element with a Trace - same as we do with requirements linked to top events. Then you can write a derived property, which accesses (through the trace) the output node and provides the reliability result.

You already found the place where the result is stored, the RBDModel (which you can see in the model browser) and in there the RBDOutputNode (i.e. <yourRBDModel>.outputNode.reliability), so I guess you are able to create a working derived property - right?
