is there a possibility to used the factory to create shapes on a diagram?
We want to redraw/clone diagrams from one architecture into an other.

that's currently not (yet) possible with the factory implementation, but we got this request from others as well.
Which diagram type are you looking for, just sysml?

we are currently interessted only on sysml diagrams. We have the need to "clone" diagrams and generate shapes with scripts would very helpful.We need the following to functions
- draw/add a port to an already drawn element
- draw/add connection between already drawn ports

Hi Michael,
first of all, thanks for the update, that fist what I said before, also other requests were focusing on system models.
We are currently trying to reuse something we have built already for our testing framework (tests can create diagrams without having the diagram actually open which is a similar use case).
However, we are not yet sure we can reuse that easily so timing wise I can't promise much.
I hope to have a more reliable answer (or maybe already something we can test) by end of this month.
