get allocated elements in JS

 Hi All,

I want to collect all allocated "SystemElements" of type "Characteristic" from Doors requirements.

I can find all Requirements

finder.findByType(Metamodel.safetygoals.SafetyRequirement)

but I do not know what are valid "methods" or attributes of the found List. (e.g. .mediniGetTracedElements())

how can I extract now all the allocations?

Hi Sven,

allocations from requirements to system elements are indeed Trace instances. You can check Allocation : Ansys medini analyze Support (freshdesk.com) and How to create relation "Allocation" via script : Ansys medini analyze Support (freshdesk.com) for some details.

Note that there is currently no Finder API to find traces, that will come with 2023 R1 so you have to use mediniGetTracedElements.
