For some problems you may want to make use of Graphs and graph algorithms but neither want to implement an own library nor fiddle around with JS based graph libraries that eventually will not work in medini.
Fortunately the scripting engine in medini is scripting Java (there are multiple articles about that here in the forum). So you may download and use any Java based library as for example JGraphT. There are other examples in this forum that explain how you incorporate any external Java library into your script.
Fortunately we also use that library already ourselves in medini, for example for the "Dependency Viewer" which internally creates a graph with all objects and dependency edges. So its easier to disclose that library than actually to link it yourselves.
Find attached a library and a sample script that creates simple graphs with String vertex and some edges. There is also a function to export the graph later in DOT format - a format that can be consumed by external programs.
