extract information from String

Hi,

I have an imported user profile with string context like this:

"ACC, AEB, ACC S&G"

now I want to extract ACC and AEB and ACC S&G to check if I have an item definition with this name.

in OCL I found the following method:

self.user_function_doors_link.toString().tokenize(',')

this works fine, too.

Hi Sven,

this should be possible with the split-method:

var myString = "ACC, AEB, ACC S&G";

var entries = myString.split(",");

//entries[0] should be ACC
//entries[1] should be AEB
//entries[2] should be ACC S&G
