Display Measures in FMEA sheet

Hello,

Currently i'm trying to import a DFMEA Excel sheet into medini.

So far this forum helped me a lot to understand how to write the script.

But I'm facing an issue which i'm not able to solve.

My goal is to link measure to a Cause.

I have followed another topic wich explains how to do it (here), there is an extract of my script :

Everything seems to look fine, except the result is not shown to my FMEA sheet in Medini. 

I have also tried to synchronize the worksheet with the function provided (here).

When I edit manually the entry into medini, the values are changing in my debug as you can see : 

But when the script edit values, nothing change in the medini sheet.

Another question, form testing I have seen that we can have multiple measureGroup to the same cause. All those measureGroup should be displayed in the FMEA <?WORD FLAGGED?> ?

I hope you did mean FMEA Sheet ;-)

Yes they are all shown in the Sheet in a stacked Fashion:

It is recommended to disable "Hide measure group information" on the coverpage in order to see the names as well as status and completion dates for the individual measure groups. There are also filter options on top of the table to filter out measure groups w.r.t. content type (DFesign&Production or Diagnostic Monitoring) and w.r.t the status of the measure group:

Q2: The detection value of my Detection measure is not pushed automatically to the Measuregroup ?

Yes that is correct and intended - you have to set the Occurrence and Detection values at the measure group explicitly (by the script). There are two main reasons:

1. The value for Detection at the measure itself is a default (usually best case) value, however it may depend also on the failure cause whether the best case value can really be achieved. Same holds for occurrence - which is again based on the native occurrence of the failure (cause) and the effectiveness of the prevention measure.
2. In addition also multiple measures may be used within the measure group and thus you have to derive/justify the combined detection and occurrence. This can again not be determined by the tool (see e.g. the detection/prevention measures in the measure groups in the screenshot above).
