mapping of safety goals into PTC

Hello,

i am trying to import safety Goal into PTC.

from the ANSYS training material i saw that the general reccomendation is to map safety goals to Requirement type in PTC.

in my project safety goals are defined as Input type, but the mapping seems to be not possible, as i am getting this failure error:

"Error "MKS148122: The field "Shared Category" is constrained by the type "ALM_Shared Input", causing one or more values in the field "Shared Category" to be invalid." executing command on Item 0 '0': im createcontent --type=ALM_Input --parentID=10658322 --field=ALM_Text=xxxxxxxxxxx--field=ASIL=C"

is it generally not foreseen to create such connection (safety Goals => Input), or ist there some workaround for that?

Hi Francesco,

I am not sure about that "Shared Category" field. PTC has a rather generic type system so that could be of any plain or complex type. Do you have any information on it?

Seems that PTC is expecting some value here which you cant or do not deliver. Maybe you can check in PTC how the type and specifically that field is defined and come back here with that info.
