Dear Jan, dear forum partners

Sometime when executing some scripts it happened that some elements of my model browser seems to be corrupted like :

Is it a side effect from script ? It is meaning that my script is wrong ? What I can do to come back to previous good version ? because it appearing not always..

What do you advice here ?

Florent, this is a very bad sign and should not happen. I suspect indeed that your script is doing some harm to your project. Do you delete objects are set references to null?

In any case, I suggest that you use the sanity checker in the end of your script to make sure you do not break something. See this article how to use it.

Sometimes it was happening when deleting object with an older version of trashbin. Now it seems better...

But for this QT FMEDA I do not now what the user has done...I would had the sanity check and redo some tests on all the scripts..

Hi Jan, I observed this recently as well, but could not tell the source of that element. I got away by deleting it from the model browser. Certainly, I'll report further happenings, especially if I am able to reproduce them systematically.

Thanks Peter, please do that. This should not happen and we have to make sure its not a bug in the libraries.

One thing I can imagine and remember is the undo behavior of scripting if you have created new models from the factory, anything related to that?

Which kind of model is visible as a proxy, is it system model or any analysis model?

I remember Jan some errors appearing after Undo for scripts as well

"PJ Proxy Model" got observed in another project (that I only looked at for support). It remains unclear as to why it appeared. I have (failed/interrupted) diff&merge operations in suspicion, but no proof yet.

any more details? E.g. which type of model is it and how do you version your models (MPRX, plain files, not at all).

Also interesting: are scripts involved that create these kind of models?
