Bind excel libraries info

Hi,

I am trying to read in an excel file every cell in a range from top to bottom and from left to right. I have seen some of the past tickets regarding importing information from excel, and it seems that certain objects inherit properties and methods with bind(), where can I find documentation about the inherited properties and methods? Or about other libraries I can call using bind() in a similar way?

Below what I meant:

var ExcelDocument = bind("de.ikv.medini.docgen.openxml", "de.ikv.medini.docgen.openxml.document.excel.ExcelDocument", false);

var CellAddress = bind("de.ikv.medini.docgen.openxml", "de.ikv.medini.docgen.openxml.document.excel.CellAddress", false);

Or is there something I have misundertood?

Hi Manuel,

the binding is usually done in the libraries we are providing here at the scripting forum. As a user you would usually just apply the functions from the API libraries - in case of Excel this would be things like getting a worksheet, getting a row, reading cell content etc.

I think based on these information it should be easy to just read the content from an Excel as you described.
