FTA: New Connection Relation

Hi,

I am trying to create an FTA model  via scripts. I get an error while trying to create a connection between a event and logical gate (error description attached). 

 

var newmodel = Factory.createElement(ftamodel, Metamodel.FTA.FTAModel)

var event1 = Factory.createElement(newmodel , Metamodel.FTA.Event)

var gate1 = Factory.createElement(newmodel, Metamodel.FTA.LogicalGate)

var connection = Factory.createRelation(event1,gate1, Metamodel.FTA.Connection)

 Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Hi Praveen,

the connctions are not between events and gates but between event nodes and gates (see the MetaModel Documentation). So you have to navigate from the evet to the related event node - if you have no MOEs this should be something like

connection = Factory.createRelation(event1.nodes.get(0), gate, Metamodel.FTA.Connection);
