Reflexive reference property

Hi,

I would like to know whether it is possible to establish bi-directional relationship with reference property.

**Context**

For each asset in the model, map it with its relevant attack(s) using reference properties. Then in the attacks collection, I would like to see the assets affected by each attack. 

**Why not use traces?**

Trace doesn't have restrictions on the type therefore it could be error prone if large collections with many attacks are used.

Could this only be done via scripting? If so are there any relevant examples?

Any advice on best practices is appreciated!

Maisy,

Yes, that's possible. First you create a reference property for the asset (do you mean "Element" in Profiling?), allowing multiple "Attacks" to be selected, so that you can see it in the properties of the element under "Profile". There you select the attack(s) to reference. Let's assume you named the property "user_relevant_attacks".

Second, you create a derived property for an "Attack" in Profiling, with using the following as script (this command exists in OCL and JavaScript):

self.mediniGetOpposites("user_relevant_attacks")

This will show you the Elements having referenced the Attack.
