Accessing medini via comand line/ Open the medini debug mode

In order to receive nice scripting features like the diagnose, which allows us to screen every element for it's meta model name and correlations, we need to open medini in the debug mode.

One way how to open medini via comand line is explained in the video attached.

PS: If you don't like command lines, you can also copy your existing shortcut and create a copy of it. At this copy you can simply add "-debug" to the target this will also open medini in debug mode.

I would like to add a few additional information for those of you who are working with MPRX files and are used to double click them to open. If you want to open medini in debug mode for *double click*, you have to do a few more things.

Double click and any context menu entry for MPRX is done in the Window registry (yes, yes, even with Windows 10, that nice little MS dinosaur exist). Open the registry app using "regedit.exe" and browse into the HKCR (CLASSES_ROOT) folder.

In there search for "mediniAnalyze.mprx.2020 R1" entry (or the version you are using). Should look like this:

Expand the "open" shell extension and select the command entry. On the right panel you will see the default value for this entry.

Double click it and add -debug to the command line, best at the end. Do not forget to place a blank in between. And do not put it in between the -f and the "%1%" or you break the open command.
