Hello,

Is there a way, we could use prompt in profiling and use the input received from user in the profiling script ?

I want the user to be able to enter the index of malfunction they need to select and use it in script as follows -

index = prompt("Enter index of malfunction you wish to select")

var function = self.asset.failures[index]

is it possible ?

Currently using the above results in following error -

that should be possible like this:

var index = inputText("Enter index of malfunction you wish to select");

you need to include the libray ui.js for this.

The method requires 2 arguments, please check the guide:

However, I strongly recommend to not use any interactive feature inside a derived property. The value is cached and is not supposed to interact with the user.

A project even may be used on CLI without any Ui up and running.
