Replacing automatically requirements in Medini with requirements from Doors keeping relationship

Dear all

My problem is the following. We have have some medini platforms in which safety requirements were created, linked together with contributions, traced with other artefacts, having also some profiling properties of type referenced used......

Now these requirements were moved from medini to Doors 9.7 (old generation) and we would re-import in medini for mirroring.

I am looking for a script that would navigate through imported Doors requirements...look at similar medini native requirement ..then for the matched requirement from medini it should get all the relationships with other medini artefacts...and replace in these relationships founds the medini requirement by the Doors requirement...

Do you have this kind of script Jan ? ;o)

Ui, Florent, that's a challenge. I am not sure we have something here out of the box.

However, I did not understand all of it.

So you say, that you have "old" requirements with relations in the medini project and now "new" requirements, imported from DOORS which more or less should replace the old one so you want to transfer the relations to the new one? And "old" and "new" are in the same project?

Yes you are right

The idea is to not redo all relationships manually...so I imagine that :

1. I could select first the new req mirrored from Doors..

2. then for each requirement found mirrored from Doors I would try to find a medini requirement based on id, name..

3. then for the medini req found I should extract all relationships..contribution...allocation...1 derived property in my case....traces...and replace the medini req by the doors req in all relationships previously found..

The tricky part is to find relationships...then for script I am not sure that contribution, allocation are supported...
