Scripting on Doors requirements

Hi Jan

I try to apply some script on Doors imported requirements (native in Doors).

the following extract does not work :

var target_req = finder.findByType(Metamodel.doorsrequirements.DoorsRequirement,false);

What I did wrong ? Could you alse remind me what it the flag false/true for ?

A DoorsRequirement has attributes "url" and "lastModified", so this should work:

finder.findByType(Metamodel.safetygoals.SafetyRequirement).butNot("url", undefined);

I think the reason is that we don't have the "doorsrequirements" package in the Metamodel singleton,

actually a defect or missing feature I would say. Anyway, that brings me to the solution which

also explains the true/false: DoorsRequirement actually inherits from SafetyRequirement so

finder.findByType(Metamodel.safetygoals.SafetyRequirement);

is the same as

finder.findByType(Metamodel.safetygoals.SafetyRequirement, true)

and will give you also the instances of DoorRequirements. This however:

finder.findByType(Metamodel.safetygoals.SafetyRequirement, false);

will give you only requirements that are *not* DoorsRequirements,

The flag simply says: including sub-classes or not and is true by default.

So it does not mean that it is included in the metamodel ?
