I want to customize some new attributes for Security Analysis in Medini Analyze, but the Metamodel Script is not available for me. Could it be possible to be shared with me so that I could have a look on how the functions or names of existing properties are defined?

thanks for the document in attachment. However, I am meaning the Metamodel script defining functions of Medini attributes instead of its methodology. I saw that in Medini people can via "script" find something related but only partial. For example, how is "Metamodel.sysml.SysMLActivity" defined in Metamodel script? and so on... Could you help me about this? Thanks!

Hi Han,

well, the generic documentation tells you that each object has attributes and operations. Attributes can be set or read.

The metamodle guide then gives you all attributes and operations (their names). So you need both I think.

please have a look at the attached file which is a screenshot I made from one of JavaScripts in Medini.

What I really want to know about is how the MetaModel Script is written down and how I could reuse them to customize my lovely features into Medini. I think the first step is to know how these functions are called in MetaModel, correct? One example would be, how security attribute could be found, could it be found by "element.SecurityAttributes"? however, I tried it did not work, i.e. in MetaModel script it is defined as another name.

Aha, maybe I know understand better. Originally we indeed had (and still have) a script that lists all meta types and packages. That script is hooked to support auto-completion, unfortunately the auto-completion stopped working (see https://medini.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/1000093074).

Anyway, I have attached the pseudo file to this article so you can use that.

At the bottom you will see the packages, so basically Metamodel.X where X is one of the packages registered there. Each package then has dedicated classes.

in the document of Metamodel you attached I did not find any information regarding cyber security Java script. Could you please provide the scripts of cybersecurity staff specific for TARA?

For example, I went through your Metamodel.js and noticed there were 2 packages (pls see below) defined in Metamodel function, but what exactly is included in these packages and how their Javascript looks like? Could you please send them to me for having a look? Thanks in advance!

Indeed, this metamodel.js script is fairly outdated. I think the main reason was, that as mentioned the auto completion broke with last eclipse upgrade so we stopped maintaining it.

Anyway, I regenerated the TARA part and - here it is.

Indeed, again it slipped. See the attachment. Note that it heavily is based on the same foundation as Fault Trees.
