Link effects

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to automatically link effects in Medini with a script.

Looking up the metamodel I noticed that there could be two way of doing it:

1) Append the "effects[]" list in my objects with the objects I want

or

2) Create a causality relation between the two objects using the factory

My question is: would doing 2 automatically do 1 (and the contrary, would doing 1 automatically do 2)? What is the recommended approach to do this?

Moreover, if I do 2, would my objects' "effectRelations[]" automatically contain the causality relations I created?

Hello Adrien

yes you should take the Factory function createRelation to do this. That will take care to set all derived attributes correctly. Just appending something to effects[] will not create a consistent data model.
