Integrating the new risk levels from 2020R2 into scripts

We just migrated to 2020R2 and noticed that there is further customization opportunities directly implemented for the risk levels.

Before we used to have a profiling script which mapped the severity [0-10] of a hazard to a list of severity classes.

Now this is rendered useless because the severity concept has been expanded (it now has a label and a description and can be modified by the user in the medini interface) and we want to update our scripts.

We have no problem to acces the severity with self.severity but we would like to know how to access the labels (after sifting through the metamodel document and trying with the interactive console we could not find a way).

The FMEA worksheets already display them accordingly but we also use that in other analyzes.

Crystal clear now. Unfortunately the "label" was never exposed as a derived attribute at failures.

So you cannot easily access that.

I quickly checked and it seems that the only way would be to access the risk classification

configuration of the project and fiddle around with that. Would look like:

// main entry point into the classification configuration
var rc = finder.findByType(Metamodel.FMEA.RiskClassification).first();
alert(rc);

Sorry that wasn't clear.

We have a profiling script that does this:

This maps the severity attribute from hazards and failure modes to the categories that our customer use so we can display those categories in the FMEA/Hazard Analysis... with the following profiling script:

var sc = self.element.user_severity_class;
sc;

This is now useless because Medini Analyze 2020 R2 implements custom severity rankings:

The first script is now useless because this mapping is done directly in the tool (Label column).

We can still access the Severity values (now from 0 to 5) with:

var sc = self.element.maxSeverity;
sc;

But now we would like to know the syntax to access the Label column (highlighted in yellow). We looked into the metamodel document and tried to access it with the interactive console but we could not find the query to access this field.

Hope it's more clear that way.
