Java Version supported in medini scripting

Hello.

We are using some Java/JDK classes in Java Script scripts in medini.

In general, this is working fine but I get errors when using features from newer Java versions, e.g. java.nio.file.

Which version of Java is supported in medini or in the Rhino version integrated in medini? Is there a way to upgrade this in a local installation?

Hi Ralph,

medini is shipped with its own JRE. Due to the new Oracle policies we switched from Oracle to OpenJDK. Current version should be 1.8.something.

So any issue with java.nio might be caused by OpenJDK but not by Rhino itself (to 99.9% sure)

I at least used some classes as java.nio.Path myself already.
